Overview

Zabito AI is a specialized legal assistant designed to navigate the complexities of property, real estate, tenancy, and succession laws in Sindh, Pakistan. Developed as a Final Year Project at FAST NUCES, it leverages Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to provide accurate, citation-backed legal guidance.

Focus Areas

  1. Property & Real Estate: Navigating ownership disputes, transfer processes, and documentation requirements.
  2. Tenancy Laws: Clarifying rights and obligations for landlords and tenants under local statutes.
  3. Succession: Automating the calculation of inheritance shares according to legal frameworks.

What came out of it

  • Democratizes access to legal information regarding property/tenancy.
  • Handles queries in English (and potential for Urdu/Sindhi support).
Build details

What shaped the work

  • High accuracy required for legal advice.
  • Must handle complex local property laws specific to Sindh.
  • Transparent sourcing of legal clauses.

Decisions along the way

Retrieval Agented Generation (RAG)

LLMs alone hallucinate legal facts. Using RAG grounded in official legal texts ensures accuracy.

Keeping it reliable

  • Citation of specific legal clauses for every answer.
  • Disclaimers and limitations clearly communicated.

Build notes
